Effective date: 22/08/2026 (version 2026-08-22)
Trading name: PharmX ("PharmX", "we", "us", "our")
Contact email: info@pharmx.co.uk
Websites: pharmx.co.uk and pharmx.study (together, the "Website")
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using PharmX. By using our Website, purchasing access, creating an account, or using any of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use PharmX.
1) Terms Summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full Terms below apply.
- Access & Use: You may use PharmX for personal learning only.
- No Account Sharing: Sharing logins or authentication codes is strictly forbidden and may lead to warnings, suspension, a permanent ban, and no refund.
- Authentication Codes: Any unique authentication code issued to you is personal to you and must not be shared, transferred, published, sold, or used by anyone else.
- Content Ownership: All notes, videos, question banks, mock exams, web apps, and resources belong to PharmX.
- Strict Anti-Copy Rules: No screenshots, screen recordings, copying questions into other platforms, or reselling content.
- Cancellation and refunds: Your 14-day rights and any refund depend on the plan you choose. Long-term memberships use the statutory cancellation terms in Section 6.4; our separate refund policy for one-time and legacy monthly memberships is in Sections 6.1 to 6.3.
- Long-Term Memberships: The 18-month and 24-month memberships are paid monthly over a fixed minimum term. After the 14-day cancellation period they ordinarily continue for that term, subject to the exits and legal rights in these Terms. They end automatically and do not renew. See Sections 5.7 and 6.4.
- Community Conduct: WhatsApp/community rules apply. Misconduct can result in removal or banning.
- No Guarantee: We do not guarantee exam passes, outcomes, or professional results.
- Not Affiliated: PharmX is not affiliated with the GPhC.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2) Definitions
In these Terms:
- Account means the user account created to access PharmX.
- Authentication Code means any unique code, access code, login code, or similar credential issued to you to access extra PharmX resources or protected Services.
- Content means all materials, services, and resources provided by PharmX including videos, notes, slides, PDFs, A4 sheets, question banks, MCQs, mock exams, web apps, and any other learning materials.
- Services means all products and services offered by PharmX, whether paid or free.
- Membership means any paid access plan shown at checkout, including one-time, monthly, minimum-term, loyalty, and Team memberships.
- You / User means the person accessing or using PharmX.
3) Eligibility
You may use PharmX only if:
- you can legally enter into a binding contract; and
- you comply with these Terms.
PharmX is designed for UK trainee pharmacists, but may also be used by international learners and others.
4) Account Registration & Security
4.1 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
4.2 Security responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your Account.
4.3 No sharing / no transfers
Your Account and any Authentication Code issued to you are personal to you and must not be shared, sold, transferred, published, sublicensed, or allowed to be used by anyone else.
If another person uses your Account or Authentication Code, or if you use another person's Account or Authentication Code, this is treated as a serious breach of these Terms.
4.4 Device/session/IP monitoring
We may use reasonable technical measures to detect and prevent account sharing or abuse. To help prevent abuse of the platform, the following information may be monitored:
- device fingerprint
- device type and browser information
- approximate location information
- coordinates, where available from IP geolocation services
- location source
- IP address
- Internet service provider (ISP)
- language settings
- timezone
- login timestamps, concurrent live sessions, rapid logins from distant approximate locations, and unusual access pattern detection
We do not ask your browser for precise GPS location for account-sharing checks. Location signals used for these checks are based on network/IP data available to our hosting and security providers.
If our systems detect code sharing or other abuse, we may display a warning to active sessions, record the event for admin review, notify PharmX, suspend or remove access, and refuse refunds where permitted by these Terms.
5) Purchases, Plans & Billing
5.1 Products offered
PharmX currently offers, as one-time purchases:
- a 6-month purchase, paid once and currently including 8 months of access (6 months plus 2 promotional months);
- a 12-month purchase, paid once and currently including 14 months of access (12 months plus 2 promotional months); and
- a Team membership covering multiple licences, paid once and arranged on request.
PharmX also offers long-term memberships, paid by monthly card payment across a fixed minimum term:
- an 18-month membership, paid monthly over an 18-month minimum term; and
- a 24-month membership, paid monthly over a 24-month minimum term.
Long-term memberships are described in Section 5.7.
A recurring monthly membership was previously offered and is now closed to new sign-ups. Members who already hold a monthly membership continue on their existing terms (see Section 5.2) until they cancel.
Not all plans may be available at all times. Available plans will be displayed at checkout.
5.2 Monthly membership (existing members only)
The monthly membership is closed to new sign-ups. If you already hold one, it is billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can cancel anytime through your account settings (where available) or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing, and you retain access until the end of the current billing period unless access is terminated due to breach.
5.3 6-month and 12-month memberships
6-month and 12-month memberships are paid once, upfront. They currently provide 8 or 14 months of access respectively because each includes 2 promotional months, as shown at checkout. They do not renew automatically.
5.4 Pricing
All prices are shown at checkout. We may change pricing from time to time, but changes will not affect a membership period you have already purchased.
5.5 Payment processing
Payments may be processed via third-party payment processors. By paying, you agree to their terms as well.
5.6 Agreement at checkout
Before completing checkout, you must confirm that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must not purchase or use PharmX if you do not agree.
5.7 Long-term memberships (18-month and 24-month)
A long-term membership gives you continuous access to the Services for a fixed minimum term of 18 or 24 months, paid by monthly card payment. Each payment is for your ongoing access during that term. A long-term membership is a contract for services: it is not a loan, credit agreement or finance arrangement, and no interest or credit charges are applied.
Minimum term. By taking a long-term membership you commit to the full minimum term shown at checkout and to the monthly payments due across that term. The monthly amount and the total payable over the term are shown to you before you purchase.
No early cancellation. A long-term membership cannot be cancelled part-way through the minimum term, other than where you have a legal right to cancel (see Section 6) or where we are in breach of these Terms. Stopping a card payment or cancelling a payment mandate does not end the membership or the amounts due under it.
Missed payments. If a monthly payment fails we will contact you so that you can update your details. If it remains unpaid, we may end your membership and your access will stop. As you signed up to a membership with a minimum term, the payments falling due across that term form part of the agreement, and ending your membership early does not of itself bring them to an end. We may contact you to arrange settlement of any sum that remains outstanding, and would always look to reach a reasonable arrangement with you first. Your monthly rate is lower than our standard rate because you committed to the full term, and that reduction is given on the basis that the term is completed.
If your circumstances change. If you are unable to continue because of serious illness, bereavement, or genuine financial hardship, contact us at info@pharmx.co.uk. We will consider pausing or ending your membership on fair terms. We would rather find a workable arrangement than hold you to payments you cannot make.
If we change the Services. If we materially reduce or withdraw the Services during your minimum term, you may end your membership and we will refund a fair proportion of what you have paid for the period you can no longer use.
Price. The monthly amount is fixed for the minimum term and will not change during it.
End of term. At the end of the minimum term the membership ends automatically. It does not renew and no further payments are taken. You may then continue on the Loyalty Programme if you are eligible.
Your statutory rights. Nothing in this Section removes or limits your statutory rights, including your right to cancel within 14 days under Section 6.
6) Refund Policy (14-day policy)
6.1 PharmX 14-day refund policy for one-time and legacy monthly memberships
For 6-month, 12-month and legacy monthly memberships, we offer a 14-day refund period beginning on the date of your initial purchase (your first payment for that Membership). Long-term memberships are governed separately by Section 6.4.
Refunds may be provided even if you have accessed content, provided that:
- the request is made within 14 days of your initial purchase; and
- there is no breach, abuse, or policy violation connected to your account.
6.2 Recurring renewals are non-refundable
Monthly memberships held by existing members renew automatically (see Section 5.2). The 14-day refund period applies only to your initial purchase and does not reset, restart, or repeat on renewal.
Any renewal payment taken after the initial 14-day period — including the renewal at the end of your first month and every renewal after that — is non-refundable.
It is your responsibility to manage your membership and cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next cycle. You can cancel at any time at portal.pharmx.co.uk. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the current billing period, but it does not reverse a renewal payment that has already been processed.
6.3 6-month and 12-month memberships
The 14-day refund period applies from the date of purchase of a 6-month or 12-month membership. After 14 days, the membership is non-refundable, including for any unused portion of the access period.
6.4 Long-term memberships (18-month and 24-month)
Your right to cancel within 14 days. You have the right to cancel a long-term membership within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason. To cancel, simply tell us before the 14 days are up — email info@pharmx.co.uk. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is enough; you do not have to use any particular form of words.
If you cancel within those 14 days we refund everything you have paid, in full, even if you have already used the platform. We could keep a proportionate amount for the access you had, because you ask us to start it straight away when you join, but we choose not to.
We will refund you within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method.
This right stands whatever else these Terms say, and is not conditional on anything.
After the 14-day period the membership continues for its minimum term and payments already taken are non-refundable, including for any period during which you do not use the Services.
6.5 How to request a refund
Email: info@pharmx.co.uk
Include:
- your name
- email used for purchase
- order details
- reason for request
6.6 No refunds for breaches
This Section, and the conditions in Sections 6.1 to 6.3, describe PharmX's own refund policy, which in places is more generous than the law requires. They do not remove or limit your statutory right to cancel within 14 days under Section 6.4 or under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which is not conditional on your conduct.
You will not be eligible for a refund under our own policy if:
- you shared your Account, login credentials, or Authentication Code;
- you engaged in prohibited copying (screenshots, recordings, exports);
- you copied PharmX-authored Content verbatim — the whole platform or any part of it — into any location outside the PharmX platform, including for personal use;
- you attempted to resell, distribute, or republish PharmX Content;
- you were removed for misconduct under Section 12.
6.7 Refund processing
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on the payment processor/bank.
7) Digital Content, Access & Changes
7.1 Instant access
Once a purchase is completed, you typically receive immediate access to the Services and Content.
7.2 Service changes
We may update, revise, improve, remove, replace, or discontinue any part of the Services or Content, including question bank formats, videos, web apps, features, or availability.
We aim to maintain the quality and continuity of the platform but do not guarantee that any specific item will always remain available.
7.3 No guarantee of outcomes
PharmX is educational. We do not guarantee:
- exam passes

- employment outcomes
- qualification outcomes
You remain responsible for your own learning, preparation, and professional requirements.
8) Intellectual Property & Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services and Content are owned by PharmX and/or our licensors.

8.3 No commercial use
You must not use the Content for business purposes, coaching, training others, or resale.
9) Strict Prohibited Uses (Anti-copy / Anti-leak Rules)

- Copy or paste any PharmX-authored text — the whole platform or any part of it (MCQ questions, MCQ answers and explanations, mock paper questions and answers, slide text, or any other written Content) — into any location outside PharmX, including for personal use.
Any breach may result in immediate termination without refund, a permanent ban from PharmX, and legal action.
Where account sharing, code sharing, content leakage, or other misuse causes loss, disruption, investigation costs, enforcement costs, or legal costs, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of those sums and any other remedies available under law. The amount claimed will depend on the seriousness and impact of the breach and may be substantial.
10) Downloadable Content
Certain Content may be downloadable (e.g., PDFs, A4 sheets, slides).
Where downloads are enabled:
- downloads are for personal use only unless explicitly stated otherwise; and
- all prohibited use rules in Section 9 still apply.
If downloads are not enabled for certain materials, you do not have permission to copy them.
11) WhatsApp / Community Groups
11.1 Community access
Some plans may include access to a community group (e.g., WhatsApp).
11.2 Behaviour standards
You must behave respectfully. PharmX may remove or ban any user for:
- harassment, bullying, discrimination
- threatening, abusive, or offensive behaviour
- disruption of the learning environment
- spam, solicitation, or promotion
- repeated rule-breaking
11.3 Removal
We reserve the right to remove users from the community group without notice.
12) Termination & Suspension
12.1 Termination for breach
We may suspend or terminate your Account immediately if we believe you have:
- shared your account
- shared, sold, published, or allowed another person to use your Authentication Code
- used another person's Account or Authentication Code
- breached the prohibited use rules
- leaked or redistributed content
- engaged in misconduct in communities
- attempted fraud or chargeback abuse
12.2 Effects of termination
If terminated, you lose access to:
- all courses
- web apps
- MCQs/question bank
- notes/resources
- community groups
12.3 No refunds on termination
If termination occurs due to breach, no refund is payable.
12.4 Permanent bans and recovery of losses
Serious breaches, including account sharing, Authentication Code sharing, content leakage, or attempts to bypass access controls, may result in a permanent ban from PharmX. You must not create a new account, use a different email address, or use another person's access to evade a ban.
We may also seek recovery of losses, investigation costs, enforcement costs, legal costs, and any other remedies available under law. The amount claimed will depend on the breach and may be substantial.
13) Testimonials & Messages Sent to PharmX
If you send PharmX any messages, feedback, reviews, success stories, screenshots of results, or testimonials (whether by email, WhatsApp, social media, or other channels), you confirm you are sending them with the intention that PharmX may use them for promotional purposes, including publishing them on our Website and social platforms.
We may anonymise or edit for clarity (without changing the meaning).
